MQA Accreditation Visit involves six (6) Diploma in Engineering programs with the status of "Deemed Accreditation"

Each new program organized by the university when the student reaches the 4th year for the first cohort, the program must undergo an accreditation assessment visit as a condition of obtaining full accreditation from MQA accreditation council. 

Accreditation Visit by MQA Evaluation Panel was conducted on 28 - 29 June 2018 (Thursday - Friday) at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), UNICITI Alam Campus, Sg. Chuchuh, Padang Besar, Perlis. This assessment involve six (6) Diploma of Engineering Programs.

These programs have the status of "deemed accreditation" which must be through the MQA assessment. The assessment was to obtain the recognition of Full qualifications of Accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The assessment includes the reviews, research and audit of the original documents of the University programs. Besides, this MQA Accreditation Visit directly involving the assessment of teaching and learning science is conducted, view, monitor and inspect the premises, rooms / lecture halls, laboratories, equipment, exposure to ethics and regulations, as well as the supply of necessary resources (scientific) in compliance with the criteria set by MQA especially in terms of safety, health teaching and learning.

The purpose of the intended to make the final review and assessment at the university level (internally) in addition to make an improvements as well as preparation for the MQA Full Accreditation Visit.
